First Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) and one of the approximate 200 congregations in the South Dakota Synod of the ELCA.
As a member of the ELCA, our values are grounded in faith, in our biblical and Lutheran confessional sources, and in our love of God and neighbor. These values speak to the way this church lives and practices our faith, and they guide how we journey together in Christ. As people of God, we are reconciled to God by God’s grace and mercy, and we embody forgiveness in speech, action and relationships.
