Gather
and Grow - Completing Our Vision is a special campaign to
raise the funds needed to finish and fully pay for the
completion of our class and meeting rooms on the lower level
of our Family Life Center, retire our debt, complete our
desired technology improvements to allow two-way audio and
visual communications between various parts of our
facilities, complete the organ restoration and planned
additions to our parking and playground facilities. For additional details

April, 2011:
As you know with the support of many congregational members
we exceeded our campaign goal of $800,000 with a figure of
$934,104. As of this date we have received a total of
$272,000 which is 29% of our total pledged. Thanks to
everyone who contributed and please make every effort to
keep your pledges current.
We are
now in the process of placing the names of all campaign
donors on a recognition board which will be hung in the
Glass Lobby of the Church. If you have not yet made a
pledge and would like you name included on this board, it is
not too late. Please contact Barb or Cheryl at the
church office for a pledge card. Again Thank You for
your pledges!

March 20, 2011:
Lower level is finished. Today we hosted a Lower Level
Completion Celebration.

14, 2010:
Celebration Sunday. Campaign reported as
a success. With a goal of $800,000 the pledge to-date
total was reported at $903,000 with $650,000 of that total
pledged in cash with remainder in a large deferred gift.
Gifts are still being received as of this writing.

October
24, 2010:
Follow-up Sunday. Members were encouraged
to collect and fill out their pledge cards after services if
at all possible. Phone-a-thon is scheduled for Monday,
10/25 and Tuesday, 10/26 evenings with a purpose to more
fully explain the campaign, answer questions, and invite
investments to the campaign.

10, 2010:
Witness Sunday took place with discussion from
Lloyd Kucker and Nathan Weber. Campaign Prayer Vigil
was announced for Sunday, October 17 at 7am.

August 29, 2010:
Campaign Kick-Off Celebration held at 10am in the Family Life
Center. The campaign was kicked-off with speeches by Pastor
Dave and campaign co-chair's Steve Otterby and Keith Bartels along
with viewing the DVD.
Pledges to-date were unveiled at $124,120 pledged. The
campaign is off to a great start with $800,000 as the minimum goal.

Walsh and Associates on-site preparation begins.

April 25, 2010:
9:30am Special Congregational Meeting held with purpose to, 'To
retire the debt of the church and to maintain and grow the
ministries of First Lutheran Church. This fund raising
initiative will be accomplished by members of the First Lutheran
Congregations under the guidance of Walsh and Associates.'
Motion made,
seconded, and discussed. Voice vote held and motion carried.
